A community project run completely by volunteers!

Helping to provide low-cost clothing and home items to the community. Profits are dispersed each year as grants to eligible non-profit organizations. Tons of clothing and other items are saved from going into our town's landfill.

 Bulldog Backpacks

This program is housed at St. Matthew's.

Volunteers and donations come from all over the community as well as members of St. Matthew's to provide weekend food to school-age children that otherwise may not have enough to eat.

Making A Difference Ministry

Helping the Homeless toward sustainability!

Mission: To connect those in need of help with the resources needed to move forward; to connect them to those services effectively and efficiently; to build a more compassionate Alliance.

 Community Table

Program that provides a meal to anyone in need each weekday Monday through Thursday 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at the Masonic Center (123 W 3rd St, Alliance). Bag lunch provided Thursday for Friday. At Community Table, all are welcome and no one leaves hungry.

St. Matthew's volunteers prepare and serve at least one meal each month.

UTO (United Thank Offering)

The United Thank Offering (UTO) was founded in 1883 as a way to raise funds to support mission and ministry sites that were without funding. The women of the church began by asking the assembled group to make a thank offering for all of the blessings of their past year. From this first thank offering grew our modern day experience of UTO. UTO encourages people to develop a practice of gratitude and from that practice to make thank offerings for all of the blessings they experience. 100% of these offerings are then given away the following year to support innovative mission and ministry projects around the globe. Currently, all grants awarded are within the focus of Matthew 25, welcoming the stranger. For more infomration on the United Thank Offering visit: www.unitedstankoffering.com. St. Matthew's Guild collects donations for UTO each year.
