St. Matthew's Church is blessed with several long-serving ministries that help fulfill our Lord's desire that we help feed the hungry, visit those shut-in, and proclaim good news of salvation through the strong name of Jesus Christ.

Some members of St. Matthew's provide communion and pastoral care for the sick and homebound in our community. Some help with outreach to those in need both here in Alliance and beyond. Many participate in our Sunday morning liturgies celebrating Holy Eucharist. In addition, members and friends are invited to participate in study experiences and special times in praying together. Some serve on church committees and guilds organizing fellowship events which happen on a regular basis.

Fellowship is important to members of St. Matthew's. Coffee hour after Sunday service, Taco Tuesday and Bible Study are treasured times together each week. Special events enrich our life together with Christ-centered fellowship such as the Hanging of the Christmas Greens, Lenten Lunch and Pancake Supper
